Playing in purple for the FA CUP
At home was weird ...

David Gold said he would never change our club crest, and did.

Is this a slight indication that he may think about changing our colours?

Imagine ... ***k that

Wouldn't surprise me if they ever tried.

They are trying to incorporate a lot of GOLD into our colours.

Make of that what you will.

It's one for the LAPDOGS though in truth.

Yes let's make up an imaginary scenario and speculate how outraged we'd all be...

West Ham isn't a marketable enough brand name.

LONDON OLYMPIC

I quite like the purple kit for the FA Cup

Last time we won the FA Cup we played in white mostly, though it was then not our normal away kit

Our home league games should always be claret & blue though, except in exceptional cicumstances!

The only part of this that is likely - plenty of gold on our kit in 16/17.

Even if I could travel into the future to absolutely guarantee this never happened, when I got back, I'd still be outraged that the thought of this happening had made me undertake that travel.

Noticed that "COYI" this abbreviated version, is being pushed a lot recently and with the move.

I don't like that much.

Reckon they're already toying with the idea.

The predominance of deeper shades of purple and black around the pitch etc, aren't just coincidental imho.

I don't think it is Duke. Its everywhere. Was even on the big screens at any time possible against Man Utd.

The club have it wrapped round the concrete bowl in their versions of the OS too
